1. Introduction

CallArmor ("the App") is a privacy-focused Android dialer application developed by Ashish Khadse ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information on your device.

By using CallArmor, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.

2. Information We Access

CallArmor requires certain device permissions to function. Here is what we access and why:

• Phone State & Call Log (READ_PHONE_STATE, READ_CALL_LOG) — To detect incoming/outgoing calls and display your call history within the App.
• Contacts (READ_CONTACTS, WRITE_CONTACTS) — To display contact names and allow you to manage contacts from within the App.
• Biometric / Fingerprint (USE_BIOMETRIC) — To authenticate you before revealing caller identity on the privacy overlay screen.
• Overlay Permission (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW) — To display the full-screen privacy overlay during calls, hiding caller information from onlookers.
• Phone / Dialer (CALL_PHONE, ANSWER_PHONE_CALLS, MANAGE_OWN_CALLS) — To function as your default phone/dialer app.
• Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE) — To keep the privacy overlay active during calls.
• Boot Completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED) — To ensure call protection is active after device restart.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

CallArmor does not:

• Collect, record, or store any personal data
• Transmit any data to external servers or third parties
• Use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs
• Store your biometric data (authentication is handled entirely by Android OS)
• Access your call audio or record conversations
• Share any information with third parties

4. Data Storage

All data displayed in CallArmor (call logs, contacts) is read directly from your device's system databases managed by Android OS. CallArmor does not create its own copies or backups of this data. If you uninstall the App, no residual data is left behind.

5. Third-Party Services

CallArmor does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, analytics tools, ad networks, or crash reporters. The App has no internet connectivity requirement and functions entirely offline.

6. Children's Privacy

CallArmor is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since the App collects no data at all, no special provisions are needed.

7. Security

CallArmor uses Android's built-in biometric authentication framework to protect access to caller identity. Since no data leaves your device, there is no risk of data breach from our side. Your data's security depends on your device's own security measures.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
